I thought I was in love. I guess I'm not anymore. Damn, Tia was right! I change girlfriends like I change underwear. After all that trouble Liz went through..... Cheyenne is so smart, talented, beautiful... She can speak a sentence and a paragraph without blushing and I guess the thing that turns me on the most is that she acts like she doesn't even notice me.

Uh-oh! After all the trouble I went through to get Conner & Liz together, I catch him sneaking peeks at Cheyenne. I've got to get Conner straight..... and fast!
Tia punched in Conner's number. I've got to remind him of why he loves Liz so much. I bet Cheyenne doesn't even notice him. I better hurry- up. I have cheer practice.
" Hi?"
" Hey Megan this is Tia. Where's Conner?"
" In his room. I'll go get him." There was a loud thumping noise as Megan banged on Conner's door. " Who is it?" said Conner. " Tee."
" Yes Tia what do you need?"
" To remind you why you love Liz." Tia launched into her big speech about how he came to her to talk about Liz, and how many times he'd kissed Liz, and how he ditched his friends to be with her.
" How did you know about HER?"
" I saw the way you were looking at her."
" I guess you're right."
" I am always right!" Tia said with a smile. She couldn't wait to tell Angel how she'd saved Liz and Con's relationship. " Gotta call Angel! Bye Conner!"
Tia dialed Angel and told her of her great accomplishment.
" Umm, Tia, don't you think you should have let Conner find out why he loved Liz in the first place? I think you're going to make Antisocial Man feel obliged to Elizabeth." Tia's smile launched straight into a frown. Why didn't she think of that!!

What am I going to do now? Jessica thought. She needed some advice and quick. After she had dropped Jeremy off she knew he thought something was going on. Jessica drove over to the Sandborns and rang the doorbell.
" Hi!" It was the Megan.
" Hi Meg, is Liz here?"
" Yeah she's in her room." Jessica took the steps two at a time. She passed by a mirror. She looked a mess. Khaki shorts and an old girl's football short-sleeved shirt.
" Hey Liz, have you cooled down yet?" Huh? Why was Conner talking to her and why did Liz need to calm down.
" Wrong twin. I'm here to see Liz." Jessica walked by Conner and into Liz's room. " What's going on with you and Conner?"
" I think he's going to cheat on me with this new girl Cheyenne. If you had seen the way he looked at her in the Oracle office..."
" I should kill him for you Liz. I came to talk to you about well, Will and Jeremy...." Jessica explained the events that had occurred.
" Oh no Jess!! Your old self is coming out again!" What! What does she mean my "old self"?
" Jess, in all honesty you are going back to being the " I can't have a nice guy and a serious relationship Jessica Wakefield."
" What! I can have a serious relationship."
" Please Jessica, as much as you hated Will for not standing up to you. Then while Mellisa is in the hospital you go and kiss him! I bet you when she gets out Will is going to feel majorly obligated to her safety and well being."
Liz was right.... I'm going to be honest with everyone. I'm going to tell Mellisa I kissed Will, but I don't want him. Then I'm going to tell Jeremy who I kissed and why I did it..... Maybe he would forgive me....

Lila stood in front of SVH waiting for Amy Sutton, her best friend, to come out.
" Hey girl! Did you notice Jess missed cheer practice?"
" Yeah." Amy and Lila walked to Lila's convertible in silence.
" You know, I sorta miss hanging with Jessica." Amy suddenly said. Lila was silent.
" Me too... Why did we let Liss bash her in the first place?"
" Cuz' then we wouldn't be at the top of the social ladder like we are now." The words "Popularity isn't everything" almost flew out of Lila's mouth. She caught herself though. This wasn't the time to reunite with Jessica. Amy and Lila drove in silence. After Lila dropped Amy off at her house, she went to Chateau Limón. It was a place for the more financially advantaged to hang out at.
" Party for how many?"
" One, please." The waiter guided Lila to a small table. Once seated she ordered some water with a slice of lemon. She glanced over her shoulder. Todd! Lila's heart began to beat faster. He had never looked so good to her. Wait! What's wrong with me? He went out with Jessica's sister, Elizabeth.. But, they don't have to know.....
" Todd, why are you here?" Todd stood up. He was dressed in a black suit and tie.
" I'm here to talk to a guy from SVU about me playing basketball for them next year. Why are you here?"
" Just thinking."
" How's Jess and Liz?" Lila's heart winced in pain. He obviously didn't know about the whole ‘Jessica SLUT Wakefield' thing.
" Umm, we aren't really talking to each other at the moment."
" Oh.. Well, I guess the guy isn't showing up. I'll see you around, Lila." Lila stood up suddenly.
" Can't you sit and talk with me for a little while?" Todd looked confused.
"Uh, yeah, I guess so.." After he was seated Lila explained all the things that were happening at SVH.
" So everybody thinks you best friend, well, ex-best friend is a cheap slut?"
" In a nutshell."
" Why didn't you say anything to help stop it?" Lila became silent. She couldn't think of one reason why she hadn't done it. Then all of a sudden the reason came into her mind, ‘Popularity'.

" How was school Chey?" I really don't want to answer that.... I guess I don't have a choice though.
" Fine."
" Just fine?"
" Well, I named nine causes for the Civil War instead of six, joined the staff of the Oracle, and passed my first Chemistry test. All in all I say my day was fine."
" Okay. Go start your homework, I'll tell Betty to whip you up something special for dinner."
" Where are you going?"
" To a meeting. With Jeff." Oh no! Not Jeff. I thought we had left him back in Virginia. I don't like him in Virginia, and I definitely don't like him California either.
" Is there any chance I could borrow the accord?"
" Sure Chey, I'm taking the Del Sol. Later baby!" Cheyenne watched her mother sprint down the steps full of energy. She went into her room and grabbed the latest book they were reading in English class, it was called Kiss the Dust.
" Betty I'm going to go out. Later!" Betty was the housekeeper. Cheyenne drove around Sweet Valley. She pulled into the House of Java. Once inside she ordered a cup of tea. She hated coffee. Cheyenne opened her book and began reading.
" Is this seat taken?" Cheyenne looked up and saw Conner.
" No. You can sit down." I hope he doesn't expect me to grin and get goofy in front of him. Cheyenne continued to read her book.
" So, um, how do you like it here so far?"
" I'm not impressed. Not to be rude or anything, but the trend here is to be a ‘California Girl' and I don't exactly fit the description."
" Well, I think you are gorgeous." I want to say, " And you Conner are such a disturbance."
" Thank-you." Cheyenne tried to concentrate on her book again.
" That was really cool what you did in History class today."
" I make it a point to learn as much as I can." She turned the page over. I wish he would leave so I can hurry up and finish this book!
" Conner!! I knew this would happen!!" Cheyenne looked up and saw some red-faced frantic blond.
" Get a grip Liz, I was just talking to Cheyenne."
" Well, what about the way you were looking at her earlier today?"
Cheyenne closed her book, waiting for that psycho blond Liz to say something to her.
" I appreciate beauty Liz, is there something wrong with that?" Conner's calmness seemed to frustrate psycho Liz even more. The waiter came over with my tea.
" Check please." Cheyenne said. Crazy girl is starting to scare me.
" Who do you think you are talking to Conner? He's mine you better understand that."
" Pardon me, but the last time I checked I wasn't apart of this conversation. So I talked to him big deal. You just better not get an attitude with me over him, because I don't want him." Cheyenne left some money on the table along with her untouched cup of tea and left the House of Java. House of Java? Cheyenne thought. Mental note to me, never go to that place again.

Mellisa sat quietly in the chair. Dr. Montgomery was talking to her about the dangers of committing suicide.
" I'm so sorry to interrupt Dr. Montgomery, but I was under so much stress. Death looked like an easy way out. I've learned my lesson though. I'll never ever try to kill myself again." Because revenge is much sweeter.
" So I believe that you are ready to go home now. You just will have to come visit us up here every now and then." Mrs. Fox walked over to Mellisa.
" Let's go home now. I'm not ever buying sleeping pills again." Mr. Fox carried Mellisa's tote out of the hospital. The Fox's drove home in silence. Jessica Wakefield and Will Simmons beware. As soon as I get my energy back.... Your asses are grass and I'm gonna smoke it!!
