Liz hasn't showed up yet.... I better go check on her and maybe cuss out Maria along the way.
Lila Fowler
I hope Jessica feels awful for what she did. I pray that Mellisa gets better. What will I do if she dies? Go back to being friends with Jessica?
Conner glanced at his watch for the hundreth time that day. Where was Liz? Conner was constantly fighting urges to go over Maria's house and let out all his feelings for Liz in a deep kiss.
" Pssst. Tia?"
" What Conner?" Tia was wrapped up with Angel in the theater, obviously not wanting to be bothered.
" I'm going home okay?"
" Why?" Angel asked. Tia punched him in the shoulder.
" Ok. Cya Conner!" Tia said.
Conner headed out the theater and to his car. He drove home first to see if Liz was there. She was. He pulled into the driveway and saw she was bawling her eyes out on the front steps. He dashed out the car and wrapped his arms around her.
" Are you okay? What did Maria say to you?"
" S-s-s-s-she n-n-n-never w-w-wants t-t-to s-s-speak to m-me again!" Conner put Elizabeth's arm around his neck and carried her into the house and upstairs to her room.
" What's wrong with Lizzy?" Megan asked.
" She had it out with one of her friends."
" Want me to talk to her Con?" Conner hesitated. He wanted to talk to Liz, but if he didn't let Megan talk to her she'd figure that he was messing with Liz. He didn't want her to know yet.
" Yeah, get her to stop crying. I think she's too shook-up to talk right now." Conner placed Liz on her bed. Megan sat down beside her. Conner saw Elizabeth cradle up against a teddy bear and just sob into it. He wanted to be with her, but he couldn't. Not with Megan there. He went into his room and listened closely for Megan to leave.

Beep. Beep. Beep. Lila looked at all of Mellisa's statistics going across the screen. Her parents had left earlier to handle the constant flow of relatives. Mellisa looked like a sheet of ice. To Lila she might as well have been dead. Her soul seemed to have vanished.
If Jessica had been in that situation she wouldn't have acted that way, she would have sought revenge. Lila thought to herself.
BEEEEEPPPPP. Oh no! Mellisa was flat-lining! Lila ran over and push the Emergency button. Medics rushed in the room.
" Miss you'll have to leave." Lila rushed out the room. Anything to save Mellisa. Lila's thought drifted. If Mellisa dies that would place me back as the most popular girl in school.... I guess death does have its privileges. Wait! What am I saying!! Mellisa needs me to pray for her to get better not to die! A small tear slid down Lila's cheek as a doctor rushed towards her.
" Miss are you a friend or relative of Mellisa?"
" Friend."
" Do you know where her parents are? Lila's heart thundered in panic. Her throat went dry.
" Y-yes. T-they went to talk to their other relatives."
" Don't sound so scared. We saved your friend. She appears to be coming out of her condition." Lila breathed a huge sigh of relief.
" Okay, I'll be sure to tell her parents. As a matter of fact, I think I'll go now! Thank-you so much!" Lila rushed out the hospital to her waiting stretch limo. She hacked in the Fox number on her cellular.

Will and Jessica entered the hospital silent. Will approached the lady at the information desk. Jessica stood behind him. I think Mellisa's IQ is a little short of a paper straw. Trying to kill herself over a guy! Especially a wuss like Will.
" She's out of ICU. She's in room 404." Will announced. Together Will and Jessica got on the elevator and went to the fourth floor. The entire time lagged without conversation. They entered Mellisa's room.
" Liss?" Will said. Mellisa's eyes fluttered slightly.
" Hi Mellisa!" Jessica said. Mellisa's eyes flew open. There was a loud beeping noise. Her pulse was obviously getting higher.
" Why a-are you h-h-here?" She said in a deep voice. Jessica looked at her.
" I wanted to see if you were okay."
" After all the things I did to you?"
" I'm not like you." Mellisa fell back onto the pillows. Will stood by her side and caressed her hand. Jessica sat down in one of the chairs. She wanted to get out of the stuffy hospital room. Maybe Mellisa and I could become friends.... Jessica quickly wiped the thought out of her head. Mellisa was soon asleep again. Will stood up. Jessica instantly bolted towards the door. Will and Jessica walked in silence. When they reached Jessica's jeep. They stood there.
" Thanks for coming with me to see Mellisa."
" You're welcome. I'm glad I went to see her. It's getting late......"
" I know. Maybe we should go home..." Will put his arms around Jessica's waist and looked her straight in her blue-green eyes preparing to kiss her. Jessica melted in a moment of passion and the electric delight of his kiss. Then they got in the jeep. Jessica dropped Will off at his house.

Ring-ring. Elizabeth woke-up at the sound of the telephone. Her teddy bear was soaked with tears. It was Sunday, nine in the morning. Someone tapped on her door.
" Come in." Elizabeth said. The knob turned and in walked Conner.
" It's your sister."
" Tell her I'll call her back please?"
" Ok." Conner handled the phone call. Then he closed Liz's door and sat on her bed.
" I wanted to talk to you yesterday, but you looked so upset."
" I was upset, I am upset. I lost my best friend, but I gained you." Elizabeth's smile made Conner's heart thump harder. He leaned over to her.
" So we're not going to let Maria ruin what we have?" he asked.
" No." Then they began a deep, passionate kiss. They didn't notice the door knob turn and in walked Megan.
" What's going on here? I knew something was going on between you two!" Liz groaned and slowly pulled away from him.
" What gave you the idea?"
" You all disliked each other way to much not to love each other." Liz and Conner laughed.
" That made exactly no sense." Conner said.
" Whatever! That was pretty deep. Anywayz, I need the cordless phone. Then I'll leave you two lovebirds alone." Megan grabbed the phone, but left the door open after she left. As soon as Megan was out of sight, Liz and Conner went downstairs, cuddled, and watched TV.
