Being Bold & Daring December 1999
Letter From the Editor
Hello Readers! Welcome to another edition of l.y.l.a.s. Some of you do not need to read this issue because you are already bold and daring. However, there are some of us (like me) who need that extra push, that extra vote of self-confidence and it's up to the bold and daring people to help us along. Don't forget!! NEVER LET A FRIEND DO A JOB THAT YOU SHOULD DO!! That's a reminder! Oh yeah, don't forget!! Stars, bold, and all capital letter print means the information is important! Thanx.

I can hear my friends laughing at me right now because I'm saying this. I'm very timid and shy around guys I like unless they make me feel comfortable around them. The point in this topic is very simple. Get the confidence! Get the mind set! And, Go for it! Don't let your friends ask a guy out for you!!!!! Ask yourself!!! It will hurt more if he isn't interested, but be strong in front of him. If you do it yourself, then you can look in his eyes and you'll see what kind of person he really is.
*****DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CRY!!!!!*****
*****Be optimistic!*****
Just think, if he likes you, you'll find out first hand when you ask him. Then you'll get the "good" answer. I've never confronted a guy about a crush (okay, mere obsession) I've had on him. I nearly have a heart attack just thinking of the 1,000,000,000,000,001 ways he'll let me down. BUT DON'T BE LIKE ME!!! Handle your own business. Be optimistic and don't let him have such an impact on you until you get really upset. Don't get angry either! Just chill, and take it easy. He'll wonder why you didn't get upset. Don't tell your friends how upset you really are unless you have a TRUE friend.
Downplay the action and focus on something funny or happy. Laughter is the best medicine!
As Always, Take Care of you and Be Natural!
