Conner is gone. Todd is gone. Devon is gone. Am I un-lucky or what? I think I'll move out of the Sandborn residence and back with Jess at the Fowler house of Preps. There's got to be a way for me to get Conner back... There just has to be.

I can't believe he kissed me!!!! I mean it was good, that's why I stopped resisting, but gosh!! I don't want the kiss from Conner!! Liz needs a life... I think I'll join the Oracle just to see her turn red everyday. What a silly little girl.
Devon parked his motorcycle in front on Nan Johnstone's house. Home, sweet home, from now until forever! He had already prepared the letter to the lawyer who would send Nan his inheritance. Devon approached the doorbell nervously. He half expected her to turn him away and tell him he blew his chance of a stable life. He rang the doorbell. A couple of seconds later the door flew open.
" Devon?" Nan's eyes filled with tears.
" Nan, can I stay here again? I promise, no running off this time." Nan smiled.
" Devon, of course you may stay here. I missed you when you ran off last time. Come in, come in." Nan ushered Devon into his old room. He plunked his duffel bag onto his bed.
" Now I'll go fix dinner and enroll you in school. You just get some rest. Oh, I'm so glad you're back." She hurried out of the room. Devon waited until he heard Nan hang up the phone and then he picked up. He dialed Elizabeth's number which he knew by heart. The recorded operator's voice told him that the number was no longer in service.
" Dinner!!" Nan yelled. Liz will just have to wait. I'm glad to be home...... Finally!

Lila ran her comb through her hair for the millionth time that day.
She couldn't believe the events that had occurred early that Saturday morning. First, Elizabeth had moved back in, then Mr Fowler had decided to go on another one of his trips to the Bahamas, leaving Lila behind, and then her computer crashed. What luck!! How am I going to write Todd back??? Guess I'll have to buy a new computer and have some computer brain fix it up for me. Ring-ring. Lila picked up the extension to her own personal phone line.
" Hello?"
" Hey Lila."
" Todd!! How did you get this number?" There was a pause at the other end of the line.
" As embarrassing as it is to tell you this... I got your number from information."
" Oh, that's okay." Lila said sympathetically. " I meant to write you back, but my computer crashed."
" Oh..."
" I'm not making this up Todd. Hey, would you like to help me fix this one or come with me to buy a new one? I've never bought a computer before... I could use a second opinion..."
" Sure I'd love to. We're still on for Monday right?"
" Yes, of course. So I'll meet you at Electronic Heaven around three?"
" Yeah, I'll be there. See you then."
" Ok..." Lila smiled as she heard the line click. Jessica and Liz aren't the only people who can be loved. Lila and Todd arrived at the same time. They smiled at each other and entered the store holding hands.
" Todd?"
" Yeah?"
" I don't want to be shallow anymore. I want to change.."
" Really? You want to give up popularity?"
" Yes. It's not worth anything." Todd was in shock, Lila was going to give up her social queen status to be with him. Lila took his hand and looked at a new high tech computer. She and Todd discussed the features. Lila never knew she could have so much fun in an electronic store.

Mellisa looked at her reflection in the mirror. She knew she looked great. She had spent all morning making herself irresistibly gorgeous. She had on a short white skirt, a red tank-top, her thick-soled white sandals, sunglasses, her hair done in a simple ponytail, and a white backpack/pocketbook. She headed downstairs to the Fox kitchen. Her dad was reading the newspaper and her mom was nervously sipping a cup of coffee. Mrs. Fox looked up and saw her daughter smiling. She put down her coffee mug and gave Mellisa a hug.
" Oh you look so much better!!!"
" Good morning Liss!" Her father said with a smile.
" Morning Mom and Dad. Can I go out today?"
" Sure! Take my mercedes. I plan on staying at home today." Mrs. Fox said.
" Liss, how about when you come home we watch a movie or something like we used to when you were little?" Mr. Fox said with a twinkle in his eye. Mellisa choked back her tears. Her parents were actually seeming to love her.
" Sure dad. I won't be gone long!" She headed out to her mother's mercedes. She drove to the House of Java. What am I doing! Is this revenge thing really worth it! Mellisa changed her mind and drove to the beach. She took off her shoes and let the water cool off her feet. Then she noticed she wasn't alone on the beach. There was another girl on the beach who was sitting on a towel reading.
" Hi." Mellisa said.
" Hi." the girl said.
" Umm.. Do you go to Sweet Valley High?"
" Yeah, I'm new to the school. I'm a senior. My name is Cheyenne Ligon." She said.
" Oh, I'm Mellisa Fox."
" Are you the girl who..."
" Yeah, I realize that was very dumb now. Please, don't remind me about it. So how do you like SVH?"
" I don't like it very much at all. This girl named Elizabeth thinks I'm after her boyfriend Conner when it is really vice versa."
" Oh.. I had some trouble with her twin sister, Jessica. She went after my boyfriend Will, and then well, I told everyone she was a slut and that's how I ended up losing Will.... and ended up in the hospital."
" Oh..."
" So, why did you move to Sweet Valley?"
" My parents got divorced. Long story..." Mellisa noticed how Cheyenne's eyes had filled with tears. Cheyenne closed her eyes for a couple of seconds.
" It's kinda hot out here. Do you want to come over my house and watch TV or something?"
" Umm. Okay... I'll follow you."
" Ok." The girls stood up. Mellisa waited while Cheyenne picked up her things.
" Cool car!" Mellisa exclaimed when she saw Cheyenne's red Del Sol.
" Thanks. I like your mercedes."
" Thanks." They got in their cars. Well looks like I've found a friend. I'm going to become a new person. The old Mellisa died in the hospital from sleeping pills.....
